Delicious homemade food. Currently in the Corona time, benches and tables to have a snack and take a break. Self-service kiosk with fridge and cold drinks in front of the hut

Staring at the phone seems to be more important than entertaining guests. No card payment possible!

It was so beautiful. Very friendly and fast service. The dishes are very tasty and you are not urged to hurry, despite Corona, because even more guests are waiting in front of the door until seats are available. Even the ascent to the hut is an experience and extremely relaxing, you can take your time. It is definitely worth hiking to the hut, so the next weekend is secured and planned.

Is very nice on site - everything is color coordinated. Unfortunately not that much choice on the menu. But enough to fill you up. The dish of the day, game goulash, was delicious.

Maybe many loyal Feldberg ski friends feel the same way as we do. You have been coming here for many years and have never been to the top of the Feldberg. This is our first hiking trip here in 30 years. To stop off, we visited the nearby St. Wilhelmer Hut. Nice staff, good food and a great location towards Todtnauer Berg. Prices are okay and those who are good on foot can walk the Feldberg Steig to the end after a stop. Great, we'll be planning a repeat.

Great view towards Freiburg, Vosges and the surrounding area. Alpine landscape. Rich offers, fair prices, coffee and cake. A worthwhile goal. Can very well walk there

Unfortunately only the kiosk was open today, because the smelterers have vacation, that must be after hard work! But the drinks were super chilled ;-)

Very nice hut! Great food! Prices for a mountain hut perfectly fine! The highlight, however, are the extremely friendly and loving employees. We were happy to be your guests <3

In addition, delicious daily specials to the normal menu, super nice, friendly wait staff, great organization during the Corona period. Starting point / conclusion for / from beautiful hikes. We will be back. Keep it up!

Fast service. I took a break on my hike. Soup of the day with sausages was delicious. I would love to come back again.

I ate the best tarte flambée I know at the hut. The staff is very nice and friendly despite the many people.

Very cozy, great view and a good hygiene concept. In front of the terrace there are additional beer benches and tables (with self-service at a small stand) to be able to offer even more seats. The way is worth it!

It’s just great! It couldn't be better. The food is tasty prepared with love and skill, cakes and bread are homemade (Walter is a baker). Keep it up 👍 By the way: Four weeks ago there was a negative recession, simply because people are not allowed to drive on field and hiking trails to the hut. There are nature conservation and road traffic regulations. As far as Todtnauer Hütte there is a hiking parking lot for residents. It doesn't matter if it's a good or a bad walk. If I can't go up, I have to stay down! Hiking trails are inherently not barrier-free. I had to get rid of it, 🧐

Us unprepared tourists stumbled on this place at the tail end of a rather nasty storm/ downpour. They put our soaked clothes in their dryer and gave us blankets for the meantime.The Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, Schokokuchen and Coffee was great as well but I'll remember this place fondly for its spirit of hospitality. Thanks! You turned a nasty adventure into a fun one. :)

Great Black Forest cake. Very good food. Staff very friendly. Also very well organized in corona times. Simply great !!

Nice place to sit. Inside or outside. Food is cood. Cake is alright. However personnel is not paying so much attention.

The way from the Feldbergbahn to the hut is absolutely worthwhile. Card is small but very good. Homemade cakes round off everything perfectly

Great place to stop during a hike. Good food for decent price and very friendly owners.

The food was great, so was the owner who attended us. Beautiful place to stop in the middle of the mountain. We ate a fabulous soup and some home made black forest cake.

Nice to look at mountain hut just below the Feldberg summit with good quality, classic Baden food and delicious cakes. The prices are fair and the service is nice. Because of the location (and the good food) is sometimes more busy, so you have to bring some luck to find a place. Especially when the beautiful terrace is closed. If boredom should arise at the stop, the small hut library offers all sorts of fun things to read.

Nice cabin. No card payment. Very good fun service. Fast, despite good walk-in customers. If the weather is good, you can only get space if you are lucky. Nice rustic meals. Everything clean and simple. But there are more good huts to come.

Fab mountain restaurant to stop on your hike or bike ride. Been here a few times, always good food and beer in a stunning mountain setting.

Too busy for us to find seating. Won't let you order at the bar, which means we were unable to have a drink, so moved on to the next place, which did let you order at the bar and also had ample free seating.
